Summer Vision & Giving Series
We’re spending this summer gathering together around our vision to see the gospel of Jesus bring transformation to our communities and the lives of our friends and neighbors.
Through these weeks, we’ll spend our time in God’s Word on Sunday mornings tracing the threads of the mission of God’s people as he invites us into his work to announce the good news of the Kingdom with our words and with our lives.

Our Vision
As we set about this work together, we believe God’s Word through us will not come up empty. We trust in the Holy Spirit moving through his people to make our labors bear fruit, not only in our church but all throughout our city.
We long to see the gospel of Jesus…

We long to see the gospel of Jesus rescue those held captive by moralistic self-reliance and wayward desires to find their true freedom in a relationship of loving obedience to King Jesus who gave his life to forgive our sin.

We long to see the gospel of Jesus foster a community shaped by the humility and compassion of Christ where people from all walks of life can find belonging and grow in maturity to show forth God’s image in the world.

We long to see the gospel of Jesus paint beautiful and redemptive pictures of God’s surpassing greatness that captivate imaginations and propel hearts into worship.

We long to see the gospel of Jesus mobilize Christians into loving service and missional vocation to engage areas of physical and spiritual brokenness as we join Christ in making all things new.

We long to see the gospel of Jesus empower and equip believers to bear one another’s burdens with loving responsibility for the spiritual welfare of our neighbors.

Giving Goals
This summer, we're asking God to do more in and through CityChurch than we've seen before. These goals reflect our desire to see the church strengthened from the inside out—caring well for our congregation, investing in our city, and reaching beyond our walls to see the gospel advance throughout our region and around the world.
close gaps in our 2026 budget to facilitate ministry in Bristol
increase our benevolence fund to care for needs in our congregation and community
give 10% of our church budget toward other gospel ministries in our region and to church planting and missions around the world
raise funds to hire a second full-time pastor
Generosity is one of the ways we participate in the mission God has called us to together. As we labor this summer to understand what it means to be sent into our city with the whole gospel, our giving is a tangible expression of that shared commitment. We invite every member and regular attender of CityChurch to prayerfully consider how they can contribute to these goals—not out of obligation, but out of delight in what God is doing among us and through us in Bristol.
